Winter Talk - Thursday 23rd January
Published 12:11 on 6 Jan 2025
Our next talk is from the Imogen from the Forestry Commission who will be here to tell us all about the reintroduction of the White-Tailed Eagle to the Isle of Wight. A fascinating project that has recently released six young adults to the area where they would have been a common sight prior to their extinction from the wild nearly 240 years ago. Imogen will give us the low down on the five year programme and its latest news and updates how these magnificent birds are doing.
As with all talks, entry is free but please do book online so we can keep an eye on numbers. Also, there will be a collection on the night for the project, so please do bring along any spare cash you may have.
