This summer Richard was co-skipper for an Arctic expedition on board an Irish yacht "Danu of Galway", a 43' steel ketch. The aim of the expedition was to map some unclimbed cliffs and mountains in Scoresby Sound, East Greenland, the worlds largest (and very remote) fjord system. They carried out sea water microplastic sampling for Trinity College, Dublin, and surveyed some known and unknown anchorages. This is the story of Richard's experiences.
