Long Potter to Alum/Colwell Bay - 2 RIBS

1hr at Colwell for picnic/swim (or North Spit if conditions unsuitable)

Start times will be adjusted depending on conditions and wind direction and will be confirmed by OOD 2-3 days beforehand.

Briefing will be 15 minutes before the start time and crews & boats are to be ready to launch immediately afterwards.

Following consultation with both clubs, this year solo sailors will be welcome in the Oxey and Pylewell trips. Sailors must be competent and certain of their fitness to participate solo.

All Long Potters will require helm and crew (mostly to bail out on the return leg wind against tide!).

Except for Threading the Needles, children who are competent sailors themselves and are 12 years old and over are welcome on Long Potters in school holidays as long as they are sailing with a parent/guardian or other family member in loco parentis.

All helms must be over 18 years of age.
