RYA Dinghy Level 2 - Basic Skills

Looking to learn to sail in Keyhaven, Lymington? Our RYA Dinghy Level 2 course is the perfect course for improvers, running over two days in the stunning waters around Keyhaven. With friendly, qualified instructors, you'll gain the confidence to take the helm and understand the basics of dinghy sailing.
What You'll Learn
- Rigging and launching a dinghy independently
- Improving tacking and gybing technique
- Sailing in all directions, including upwind
- Coming alongside, picking up a mooring, and sailing a set course
- Introduction to basic racing and man overboard recovery
- Continued focus on safety procedures and essential knots
What You'll Need
- Wetsuit or suitable sailing gear (we can advise on this)
- Buoyancy aid (we have some available if needed)
- Shoes that can get wet
- A change of clothes & towel
- Packed lunch or snacks
