In this Safety Boat skills session, we'll be working on core boat handling skills by practising approaching a capsized craft and towing off of a lee shore.

We'll also be covering some aspects of the RYA Safety Boat syllabus, allowing you to work towards the qualification in a modular way:

• Limitations of craft with high freeboard
• Hull types
• Drive types

Understands:

• The dangers of lee shores
