POTTERING PROSPECTS 16 - 20 MAY

Monday - At the time of writing (Sunday) there is a yellow weather warning for Monday, particularly at 11.00 when the tide is high - in fact all the time the tide is high i.e. between 09:30 - 15:30 the wind is SW 4 gusting 6 - so not really a day to be going out.

Tuesday - A better day with Tides good from 09:30 - 16:00 (but remember it is Springs so it will vanish quickly after 16:00). The wind by 10.00 will be SE 3/4 gusting 4/5 by 16:00. It will be gusting 6, so perhaps aim to be back on shore by 15:00? Some sun.

Wednesday - Tides good again from 10:00 - 16:30, wind SSW 2 possibly gusting 4 a bit later and by 16:00 might have gone round to SSE 3 gusting 4.Cloudy, possibly rain later.

Thursday - Tides 10:30 - 17:30, wind SW 3 gusting 5, mainly sunny.

Friday - Tides 11:30 - 18:30, wind is backing from NNW to SW Force 2 rising to 3 by 16:00, predicted not to gust above 4. Cloudy

So sorry, not ideal again this week. We hope to be out on Midge so will not be pottering. Try not to go out on the water alone this week, it is always more fun to sail in company.

Hope this helps, but please remember to check weather conditions carefully for yourselves before going out - this is only a heads-up.
