2000 Class National Championship 2023
KYC are excited to announce the early entry bookings are now open for the 2000 Class National Championship 2023 being held 12th - 18th August. Early entries must received by 31st January 2023. A £50 non-refundable deposit is payable with the balance due 30 June 2023. All race information can be found on the webpage 2000 Class National Championships There are two tickets available with an Adult at £220 and a Youth ticket

Racing Seminar: To discuss ideas to improve racing and attendance at racing for 2023!
Dinghy racing is one of the core activities of our club. Traditionally most racing takes place on a Sunday, but unfortunately this year the numbers of racers and volunteers has been quite low. In view of this we have scheduled this seminar in an attempt to identify what would make those interested in dinghy racing turn out in greater numbers. Laser 2000 Thorney Island - 16th/17th July 2022
Congratulations to Michael & Jordan Rother and Matt & Alex Pepper who took part in the Laser 2000 event at Thorney Island back in July. Matt and Alex got 8th and Jordan and Michael got 19th out of 29 boats. Another great performance by our KYC members. More photos from the event are available in the Gallery .

KYC Boat Success in Round the Island Race
Congratulations to KYC boat trimaran Kittiwake and skipper Nick Barlow for a fabulous blast in the Round the Island Race on Saturday 25th June. Kittiwake was the third boat to cross the finish line in a time of 4 hours and 40 minutes, having screeched past Dark 'n' Stormy on the final reach to the line. ILCA South Coast Grand Prix 2022
