All things that sparkle....

Well done to everyone who braved Storm Darragh on Saturday evening and joined us for our annual Prize Giving Gala. Understandably a little lighter on the ground than past years due to the weather, but we enjoyed celebrating the achievements of our racing members.
Outside of the sailing and racing awards we saw special recognition of our very own Graeme Nicholls with the Jack Lloyd trophy for appreciation of services to KYC. The Hugh Carter award for the Spirit of KYC presented to Andy Ash-Vie, the Commodores Cup received by our RYA Training Principal, Sam Whatley. Watchdog Trophy for services and support to water activities went to our Bosun and Graham Jellicoe, and outgoing Rear Commodore Sailing (RCS), Neil Peacock, was also presented with a bottle of rum by new RCS, Nick Langford.
All photographs from Saturday's event are available to view on the Gallery section of the website and the results from racing can be found via Sailwave. Until next year!
Thank you to Rob Tarbard for all your hard work over the season as Race Captain, and Penny Moors for taking the photographs on the night.
