Congratulations to all our members who took part in this year's Round the Island Race!

What a fantastic weekend of sailing at one of the UK's most iconic races.

Special congratulations goes to former KYC member Simon Moss, sailing Tattarat with Sally Moss, and current members Matt Wright and Cy Grisley, who not only won their IRC class but also claimed the prestigious Gold Roman Bowl as the overall IRC winner. An outstanding achievement and a result to be incredibly proud of.

Congratulations too to Andy Ash-Vie and the crew of Wildcat V including KYC members Claire Lee, Joff McGill and Tom Garfath on a superb race, finishing 54th overall in a hugely competitive fleet.

Well done also to Chris, Kitty and Grace Cecil-Wright aboard Classic Yacht Eager which came first in it's category; David and Petra Ramsden, crewing on Blue Janga; Bob Lowndes on Magician; and Andy Hind aboard White Mischief, which we understand came 18th overall and won the Double-Handed class - a fantastic achievement.

To everyone who represented Keyhaven Yacht Club this weekend, whether racing, crewing, supporting from ashore or following the fleet around the island, congratulations on being part of such a special event.

If we've missed any KYC members who took part this year, please let us know so we can celebrate your achievement too. Well done to everyone who took to the water!
