Late Summer Series results

The late Summer Series of dinghy races ran from late July through to end September. 10 of 12 races were sailed with just 1 Sunday cancelled due wind.

In the scow fleet , Nick and Amanda Langford won the series , just ahead of Melanie and Jeremy Seacombe. Between the 2 boats they won 8 of the scow races ! Kevin Dry was 3rd in the series .

The fast fleet was exceptionally tight , with Ashton Dray's Laser winning on 12 points , just ahead of Roddy Steel's Finn on 12 points . 3rd and 4th were the lasers of Antony Oliver and Sue Handasyde-Dick tied on 13.6 points , with Antony edging it in countback . Leading 2000 was Mike and Jordan Rother just ahead of Tim Reed and Clare Lea.

Special mention to Shannon Dray braving 25kn winds this weekend's races in a Zest , and to Mark and Sean Jardine who were rib support crew for all but 1 weekend . We are as always, grateful to all race RO/ ARO teams and support crews

The last races series of the year starts next weekend with races on Sundays through to mid November . Hope to see you on the water , either racing or supporting.
