Lunchtime Talk - Wednesday 4th December
Published 12:40 on 28 Nov 2024
We are delighted to welcome English Heritage to the club on Wednesday 4th December to present the latest information on the conservation efforts at Hurst Castle.
The castle is in an extremely vulnerable position siting on the shingle spit, and as such is amongst one of the most difficult heritage sites to protect in England. With no quick fixes to the complex issues facing the castle, from sea level rise to climate change, future works and investigations will be invaluable for the future of this historic structure.
This talk is free to attend but we would appreciate online booking so we can keep an eye on numbers. Click here to register your attendance.
A light lunch menu will also be available from 12noon until 3pm, pre orders to Graeme would be very much appreciated @ bar@keyhavenyc.co.uk
