Sunny Saturdays are for Sailing!

The sunshine delivered to Keyhaven right on time last Saturday when Junior Sailing took to the water for the first time this year!

Made up of 17 Juniors, 8 dinghies, and the parent support ashore and afloat, the group rigged, launched and sailed themselves down the river channels out to Hurst Castle with commendable ease.

The high tide, gentle breeze and blue sky made for a perfect confidence building start, both for those picking up where they left off last year, and those new to the group experiencing Junior Sailing for the first time - well done to all!

A great morning was rounded off with a customary lunchtime BBQ back at KYC to further enjoy the sunshine and hope that the season will bring more of the same!
