Potterers Potty Race Cancelled for this year

Dear KYC Potterers,

It is with a heavy heart that the Potty Race Team have decided to cancel this years race. Several factors were considered in the decision
1. Our volunteer team was depleted by the postponement.
2. Only 4 boats signed up and
3. It looks very lively in terms of gusts on Thursday.

Whilst it's possible to sail in the forecast conditions, they are far from ideal for all the manoeuvres demanded of the competitors and highly likely to spoil anyone's fun.

Thankfully we have one more Long Potter to Newtown Creek to look forward to next Monday, there are still places for that trip.
