Junior Sailing - Saturday 13th September

Our Junior Sailing group took to the water again on Saturday, finding a dry and sunny spell amongst an otherwise unsettled September so far!

With the sun however came a steady but notably fresh westerly breeze! Setting up inside the Keyhaven sea wall, and under the watchful eyes of the four support boats, the Juniors still had ample space to admirably demonstrate their abilities in the more 'sporty' conditions, either poking their Zests or Quba out beyond the fishing boats to seek a brief challenge, or retreating back towards the quay in search of flatter water.

With no exception, the Junior crews worked hard for their biscuits this week! Even a capsize or two didn't faze them such is their confidence and trust in each other at this stage of the year.

Whilst this season doesn't have much more to run, this session will be well remembered for some close-to-home thrills and spills - well done to all!
