Midweek Early Series finale - Wednesday 12th June 2024

The last race in the Midweek Early Series was completed last night with 28 boats racing in the 2 classes. Andy Ash-vie was RO assisted by a great team of volunteers as AROs and rib teams.

In the open fleet Ian Sanderson edged out Alisitair Craig, both in lasers. Mark and son, Sam Jardine, triumphed in the scow fleet, with Kevin Dry getting a creditable 2nd.

1st prize also to Graeme and Megan for an excellent very spicy chilli

OPEN FLEET
1: Ian Sanderson
2: Alistair Craig
3: Sue Handasyde-Dick

SCOW FLEET
1: Mark and Sam Jardine
2: Andy Ash-Vie
3: Kevin Dry

Both Series winners won all races they competed in, but there has been great competition right through both fleets. Special mention to Kevin Dry for a 3rd place in his first series.

The next Midweek Series starts on Weds 17th July, with a few weeks off due to challenging tides!
